Tasks & follow-ups
Give every customer a dated follow-up, and track what's overdue, due today and coming up from one page.
Most lost bookings come down to someone forgetting to follow up. Tasks give every follow-up a due time and collect them on the Tasks page, so you know where to start your day.
Open TasksAdding a task
Two ways, both end up in the same place:
- Click Add task.
- Under Lead, search by name or destination and pick the lead.
- Under Task, describe what needs doing, e.g. "Call about the visa".
- Under Due, pick a day and time.
- Click Add task.
Every task belongs to a lead and needs a due time. If you have no leads yet, Add task is disabled.
The Tasks page
Tasks are split into four tabs, each with a count:
| Tab | What's in it |
|---|---|
| Overdue | Past their due time and not done. The page opens here. |
| Today | Due later today |
| Upcoming | Due after today |
| Done | The most recently completed tasks |
On the other side:
- My tasks: tasks you added.
- All tasks: the whole team's tasks, each with the avatar of whoever added it.
Each task shows what needs doing, the due time (red when overdue, with how long ago), and the lead and contact. Click either to open it.
Completing a task
Tick the box next to the task and it moves to Done. Ticked it by mistake? Open Done, untick it, and it goes back.
Log what happened
After you speak to the customer, log it with Log call in their activity, and add the next task right away. That way no customer is ever left without a follow-up.
The overdue badge
A red number next to Tasks in the sidebar counts open tasks whose due time has arrived or passed. On phones, a red dot appears on the Tasks tab in the bottom bar.
Lead moderators
A Lead moderator sees the tasks they added plus tasks on qualified leads, and can add tasks to qualified leads only.
